Wow! Can you believe it is already September?! I am not sure if that is a good or bad thing. While we can’t wait for this year to be over due to the challenges we have all been facing, it does mean our little ones are getting older which makes any parent nostalgic. So as we prepare for back to school, be it virtual or blended learning, I am here to remind you to breathe, take it day by day and just do the best you can.
Amazon is helping us in the process. I had the opportunity to join a zoom hosted by Amazon and We All Grow Latina, featured guests Jorge Bernal and Karla Birbragher, discussed remote learning and celebrating teachers through the #ClearTheLists movement.
Teachers can make a list of school supplies they would like for their classroom. Then anyone can purchase the items and it will be sent directly to the teachers. Even strangers can purchase!
Here’s how to create Clear the Lists on Amazon:
Go to amazon.com
Hover over Account & List at the top right hand side
Select Create a list from the drop-down
Name your list
Click Save and start shopping!
You can update the preferences on your list by clicking “Your Lists” on the left hand side. (where the items will be shipped, sending the list to others, etc.)
Share this initiative with your schools, teachers, and create one for yourself if you are homeschool!ing It is a great tool for when someone asks how they can support you during this time.
Wishing Everyone a happy start to school!
