CB: Who are you in quarantine with?
KH: My family…5 adults and 5 kids :) (Including my 6 year old son Knowledge)
CB: What is your quarantine story?
KH: It had been 2 weeks since we escaped to Florida from NYC, lol. We were all settling into what is currently our new normal, and Knowledge is an only child who values his “me time.” After a day of wild adventure with the cousins, each one pulling him left and right, he mentioned with the most sincere face I’ve ever seen… “Guys, guys…just gimme five minutes to myself. Please.” We all busted out laughing and a calmness quickly came into the room. We all gave each other 5 minutes until chaos eventually ensued once again, lol.
CB: What are 3 tips you would give to other Moms to help them during this time?
KH:
Coloring pages and crayons/markers have saved our lives.
Letting the kids run around and play hard from the start of the morning makes for earlier bedtimes.
If you miss a day of homeschooling (or a few days, lol) its not the end of the world :)
