New York Times Travel Show

Over the weekend Ray and I visited the NY Times Travel Show at the Jacob K. Javits Center where we toured the globe in a just a few hours!

We have been attending the New York Times Travel Show for 2 years now. It is one of our favorite events where parent and child are both excited to participate. Who doesn't love to travel!? Various places from around the world come to showcase their country in hopes of luring you in for a visit. I love that everyone displays the statements of each place in a different way.

Some of our favorite places are:

Indonesia, with people dressed in ornate traditional costume

The beaches of Aruba because they really are one happy island,

and our home, the island of Puerto Rico to awaken your tastebuds with explosions of flavor in typical foods from the island.

The Atlanta, Georgia Aquarium is a kid favorite with mask making. Make a mask to match one of the many animals that call the aquarium home. South Africa is a must! Astonishing pictures of Safari animals in vivid colors sure to catch your little one’s eye.

Wherever you decide to explore, be sure to indulge on the virtual getaway and step off the city streets and escape into this convention. After all, this is your vacation! Bon Voyage!
